Experts recommend 40% of your Investment Portfolio in Renewables

Today in the Financial Review, a study by 14 major global investors holding around $2 trillion worth of assets has recommended investors to move up to 40 per cent of their portfolio into climate-friendly assets.
The report warns that delays in climate change mititgation by some institutions could cost investors trillions over the next decade. The study was backed by VicSuper and AustralianSuper, which have both been looking at the effects of natural disasters on investments.
Investing in a Solar Power System today will generally generate between 17 - 22% return on your investment, as opposed to say a banks term deposit of around 6%!!
